The TCP/IP Drinking Game
Ok, es ist 23:46 Uhr, wie es ausschaut kommt wohl keiner der Jungs mehr vorbei. Christopher kommt nicht vom Pott weg, Tim ist arbeiten und Rüdiger sonstwie verhindert…
Aber das heisst noch lange nicht das ich jetzt alleine das TCP/IP Drinking Game spiele, oh nein.
Aber leider habe ich jetzt auch keine große Lust mehr dem Thomas ins Pulp zu folgen… Na dann blogge ich halt noch ein wenig, ist ja auch mal ganz schön.

Sollte hier also die Blogging-Frequenz noch weiter fallen, liegt das daran das ich mit Dingen wie Tapezieren, Streichen und Schränke ab- und aufbauen beschäftigt bin.

The satellite, encased in an aerodynamic, cone-shaped shell that would protect it from the intense heat of launch, would be attached to a sled designed to respond to the forces from the superconducting magnets. When the sled had been accelerated to its top speed of 10 kilometres per second, laser and pyrotechnic devices would be used to separate the cone from the sled. Then, the cone would skid into a side tunnel, losing some speed due to friction with the tunnel’s walls. The tunnel would direct the cone to a ramp angled at 30° to the horizon, where the cone would launch towards space at about 8 kilometres per second, or more than 23 times the speed of sound. A rocket at the back end of the cone would be used to adjust its trajectory and place it in a proper orbit.
Ich persönlich finde ja immer noch ein Aufzug an einem 35.786 Kilometer langen Kabel wäre eine der großartigsten Sachen die die Menschheit schaffen könnte. Der wäre allerdings sicher etwas langsamer, was dem ganzen Unterfangen irgendwie den Space Cowboy Thrill nehmen würde…
Schade ist bei der Sache eigentlich nur, dass die USA den Rest der Welt nicht mitspielen lassen wollen.

Im Prinzip:
ps -xc -o command | egrep -c "^iTunes$"
Mehr ist eigentlich gar nicht so wichtig, bzw. ergibt sich dann genau so schnell wie bei anderen Unices… Aber es gibt trotzdem noch reichlich über Processing Processes zu lesen.
