Pressemeldung der Essener Polizei, Hervorhebung von mir:

Mit einer Bratpfanne verjagte gestern Abend ein 69-jähriger Mülheimer einen Dieb auf der Luxemburger Allee.

Der Senior parkte gegen 22.50 Uhr seinen VW Golf auf dem Parkplatz hinter seinem Haus und verriegelte seinen PKW mit der Fernbedienung. Als das Licht im Auto nicht erlosch, ging der Mann zu seinem Auto zurück und fand neben der Beifahrertür einen etwa 19 Jahre alten Mann auf dem Boden liegend vor. Offenbar hatte der Unbekannte den Parkvorgang des Seniors beobachtet und heimlich die Beifahrertür ein kleines Stück geöffnet. Plötzlich sprang der junge Mann auf und wollte auf seinen Entdecker losgehen. Der erhob allerdings eine Bratpfanne, die er zufällig(!) in der Hand hielt.

Daraufhin erschrak der mit einer halblangen und roten Winterjacke bekleidete Angreifer, ließ beeindruckt von seinem Vorhaben ab und rannte in Richtung der dortigen Gärten davon.

Ja WTF? Was ist denn davon zu halten? Sollte ich mir mal besser ne Thermoskanne oder ein Nudelholz in die Jacke stellen? Falls mal einer mein Auto klauen will?
