• gitbuilder - retrieves the latest version of your project from its git repository, then builds the most recent versions of all the tags and all the branches in the entire repository. If any of them have build failures, it automatically does a “git bisect” style operation to try to track down the most recent version that compiled successfully. With that information, you should be able to identify exactly which commit caused the problem, as well as exactly who was responsible.

Das ist an sich ja gar nicht so schlimm, da der produktive Build eigentlich eh immer, wie schon hier beschrieben, vom Mac mini hergestellt wird. Aber schön ist auch anders.

Man kann das Problem, so man diesem Internet¹ glaubt, offenbar fixen, indem man das aktuelle Xcode installiert. Ich bin aber bisher mit dem 4.2.1er aus Lion noch nicht so recht warm geworden und hatte etwas Angst, dass mir das noch andere Sachen zerschiessen könnte². Also habe ich die schnelle und schmutzige Lösung gewählt und einen Symlink an der passenden Stelle platziert um die Python-Installation des Berglöwen zu fixen:

Am 1. September 2012 ab 19:00 Uhr veranstalten die Schonnebecker Pfadfinder wieder ihr legendäres Bierfest.

Für das leibliche Wohl gibt es den namengebenden Gerstensaft, Pommes und leckeres vom Grill. Für die musikalische Unterhaltung sorgen erneut die großartigen Toxic.

Wer alte und neue Bekannte aus Schonnebeck treffen möchte hat auf dem Bierfest immer beste Chancen… Kathi, Linus und ich werden sicherlich auf eine Stunde oder zwei reinschauen.

Kommt vorbei, habt eine gute Zeit, unterstützt die Schonnebecker Pfadfinder!

Ich mag Regen. Auch dann, wenn die Temperaturen gerade mal nicht an der 40 Grad Marke kratzen ist Regen schon meistens ein feines Wetter.

Und wenn man nicht mal nass wird dabei, sondern sich auf das Geräusch des Regens konzentrieren kann, ist das ganze gleich noch mal so gut für die persönliche Produktivität. Da es sich hier um das Internet handelt, ist es auch problemlos möglich, sich das Geräusch des Regens über das Netz zu holen.

Da wären etwa raining.fm und RainyMood.com zu nennen. Beide bringen zu dem großartigen Sound auch noch ein paar schöne Bilder mit.

Wer es ein bisschen künstlicher mag, aber den selben Effekt erzielen möchte, dem sei noch simplynoise.com ans Herz gelegt. Das macht Konzentration selbst im Großraumbüro¹ möglich.

Kathi und ich haben da so eine Tradition: Zu unserem Jahrestag gehen wir nett essen. Seit mehreren Jahren¹ ist dabei der Bonner Hof das Ziel unserer Wahl. Im letzten Jahr waren wir noch zu zweit dort², dieses Jahr haben wir uns mit Linus zusammen auf den Weg nach Kettwig gemacht.

Was soll ich sagen? Wenn ihr ein Restaurant mit großartiger mallorquinischer Küche sucht, das auch noch ausgesprochen kinderfreundlich ist, dann habt ihr es gefunden.

Angefangen bei der sehr netten Begrüßung des kleinen Gastes und dem schon bereit stehenden und verzierten Kinderstuhl, über die Kinderkarte zum ausmalen, bis hin zum Auffüllen der mitgebrachten Trinkflasche³, stand der Service für Linus dem unseren in nichts nach.

Dass die Gerichte⁴ tadellos und ausgesprochen köstlich waren, die sommerliche Atmosphäre im Garten traumhaft war und die Tagesgetränke⁵ herrlich erfrischten, muss man dann vermutlich gar nicht mehr erwähnen.

Bliebe zu wünschen, dass man da öfter als einmal im Jahr hin ginge…

One feature of Wordpress that I really liked, was the ability to easily schedule the publication of a post for a specified date and time. Another was the seperation of drafts and posts in the webinterface.

I wanted these features back, but without all the clutter the Wordpress webinterface introduced in the past versions. It admittedly got better in the last version I used¹, but the damage was done.

Now, firmly settled into my Octopress driven txt-only environment, I could implement these features on my own. Tailored to my very own needs. Throwing in some sync-o-magic to keep my posts and drafts updated across all my devices.

So if you’re into these things, follow me to see how posts get published in this corner of the Internet.

Das einzige iPhone dessen Name genau in die Numerierung passte war mithin das iPhone 4.

Und das 5te war dann das iPhone 4S. Ich kann mir echt nicht vorstellen, dass das nächste iPhone nun noch 5 genannt wird…

Das nächste iPhone wird dann wohl, so denke ich, aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach dem iPad Beispiel folgen und einfach das neue iPhone heissen und dann kann man sich einfach an Jahreszahlen orientieren, wenn man mal determinieren muss, welche Version man denn da nun besitzt.

Das wird es Non-Geek Menschen aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach leichter machen, sich zurecht zu finden..
