Mac OS X Installationspakete im Terminal installieren

Ist eigentlich total einfach und sehr praktisch wenn man gerade keine grafische Möglichkeit hat einen Mac zu steuern. Im aktuellen Fall habe ich das MacPorts Disk Image mit curl runtergeladen und gemountet:

~ > curl -O http://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/downloads/MacPorts-1.6.0/MacPorts-1.6.0-10.5-Leopard.dmg

~ > hdiutil attach MacPorts-1.6.0-10.5-Leopard.dmg

Dann nur noch zum MountPoint des dmg wechseln und den Installer mit Superuser-Rechten starten. Fertig ist die Kiste:

~ > cd /Volumes/MacPorts-1.6.0/

/Volumes/MacPorts-1.6.0 > sudo installer -pkg MacPorts-1.6.0.pkg/ -target /

Das ganze sollte mit jedem anderen Installationspaket1 genau so funktionieren…
