Ich fand den Song sogar so toll, ich wollte mir den gerne als MP3 zulegen, aber zu kaufen gibt es den, AFAIK, leider nirgends.

Also: Selbst ist der Mann, Video runterladen, Ton extrahieren, als MP3 speichern, fertig. Zumindest war das mein Plan.

Leider, leider, klappte das mit der Goto-Lösung für solche Fälle, dem Video DownloadHelper¹,zu meinem Erstaunen überhaupt nicht. Normalerweise lädt diese Browser-Erweiterung völlig problemlos alles runter was nach Video ausschaut und bietet ausserdem noch einige Konvertierungsmöglichkeiten. Aber damit war hier einfach nichts zu holen.

Es war an der Zeit, andere Kaliber aufzufahren. Es war nun an dem Kommandozeilentool RTMPDump, das Video in einem genehmen Format auf die lokale Platte zu bannen.

Nach dem Klick geht es etwas geekig zur Sache. Wer sich ungern mit Versionskontrollsystemen, Makefiles und einer Shell beschäftigt, klicke einfach nicht auf weiter…

rtmpdump bauen

Nach dem auschecken des aktuellen Release 2.3 mit Subversion:

svn co svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/rtmpdump/tags/rel-2.3

Ist unter Mac OS X noch das Makefile zu fixen bevor das Binary zusammengebaut werden kann.

Hierzu wird in Zeile 64 in librtmp/Makefile der Parameter -soname mit -dylib_install_name ersetzt. Die ganze Zeile lautet danach:

$(CC) -shared -Wl,-dylib_install_name,$@ $(LDFLAGS) -o $@ $^ $> $(CRYPTO_LIB)

Das wars schon. Jetzt kann das Binary gebaut und installiert werden:

sudo make install SYS=posix

Video herunterladen

Alles was jetzt noch benötigt wird, ist der eigentlich rtmp-Link zu dem Video. Der versteckt sich mitten in dem bereits oben markierten Link.

Einfach den Part ab rtmp:// copy & pasten und hinter der -r Option von rtmpdump angeben. die -o Option bezeichnet den lokalen Dateinamen für das Video und kann beliebig genannt werden:

rtmpdump -r rtmp://gffstream.fcod.llnwd.net/a792/e1/media/1live/krone/2010/Show/ 1live-krone-2010-show-stefan-und-helge-telefonmann_web_l.mp4 -o telefonmann.mp4

So landet das Video als telefonmann.mp4 im aktuellen Verzeichnis.

Video in MP3 umwandeln

Die Umwandlung in ein handelsübliches MP3 habe ich mit dem Streaming/Transcoding Assistent aus dem Ablage-Menü des allseits beliebten VLC-Players erledigt.

Nach der Auswahl des Videos wird im nächsten Fenster noch die Option “Audio transcodieren” mit MP3 als Codec und einer Bitrate von 256 kb/s gewählt. Wer mag kann natürlich auch das Video in ein anderes Format umwandeln aber das habe ich mir geschenkt.

Als Verkapselungsformat, habe ich MPEG PS gewählt, aber das sollte bei einer reinen Audio-Extraktion eigentlich eh keine große Rolle spielen. Der Dateiname muss aus obskuren und mir auch relativ egalen Gründen auf .mpg enden. Das kann man aber nach der Transcodierung einfach wieder in .mp3 ändern. Die Zusammenfassung sollte etwa so ausschauen:

Das wars dann auch schon. Der Telefonmann findet sich nun auf dem Desktop und kann problemlos der heimischen Musikbibliothek hinzugefügt werden.

Ein Wort zum Schluss:
