Postkarten sind ja eines dieser altmodischen Dinge, die unglaublich viel Freude bereiten.

Ich glaube in grauer Vorzeit hat man tatsächlich auch einfach mal so eine Postkarte geschrieben um rasch mal zu sagen dass es einem gut geht und man sich fragt, wie es wohl dem Adressaten der Postkarte gehen mag.

Heute ist diese Angewohnheit auf weiter Flur ersetzt durch umfangreiche, digitale Messaging-Möglichkeiten.

Angefangen von der, schon fast klassisch zu nennenden, Mail über die Nachrichtendienste der verschiedenen Social Networks, bis hin zu Instant Messaging für das schnelle Hallo in Echtzeit.

Nur selten erhält man heute tatsächlich eine Postkarte aus Papier und diese kommt dann meistens aus dem Urlaub. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das dann natürlich ein Freude produzierendes Papp-Rechteck. Ich scanne sogar alle Postkarten ein, die hier bei uns ankommen, denn hin und wieder ist die Pinnwand einfach viel zu voll um noch eine Schicht drauf zu legen.

Um aber auch im Alltag mal wieder eine Postkarte zu verschicken, sei es als Ansichtskarte, Einladungskarte, Geburtstagskarte oder, der Dezember rückt ja immer näher, Weihnachtskarte, braucht man ja erst einmal eine solche.

Und da kommt dann wieder die Digitalisierung ins Spiel. Im Internet bietet so gut wie jeder Fotodienst auch den Druck von Postkarten an.
