Dieses neue1 MacBook Pro, und hier insbesondere der verbaute Intel Core i7 mit vier Kernen à 2 GHz, die dank HyperThreading auch noch jeweils einen virtuellen Kern für das Betriebssystem darstellen, geht beim DVD in H.264 encoden mit Handbrake aber mal echt ordentlich zu Werke…

Allerdings vernimmt das Ohr nach einigen Minuten mit dieser Load auch ein deutliches Lüfterrauschen. Normalerweise ist das MacBook Pro flüsterleise, aber das Encoding bringt dann doch einige Watt mehr an Wärmeleistung ins Gehäuse die abtransportiert werden wollen.

Top Gerät. Der versprochene Post zur Ersteinrichtung wird derzeit einem internen Lion-Update unterzogen, kommt aber sicher eines Tages ans Tageslicht…
