Aber diese Neuigkeit wollte ich euch nicht vorenthalten¹:

Seit Freitag wohnt eine Katze namens Manu bei uns. Ursprünglich lebte sie bei Kathis Onkel der sich aber im Moment aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht um sie kümmern kann. Jetzt ist sie bei uns, sehr scheu und hat am Wochenende die meiste Zeit hinter ihrem neuem Freund dem Trockner² verbracht.

Ein wenig wurde aber auch schon die Wohnung erkundet und wir hoffen dass sie sich noch besser an uns gewöhnt und ihre Scheu verliert. Toll ist es, dass sie schon ihr Katzenklo gefunden hat und davon absieht Möbel und Tapeten mit kreativen Mustern zu verzieren…

Ihr könnt euch also schon mal ein wenig auf mehr Cat Content in diesem bescheidenen Blog einstellen. Denn:

Hier das Rezept für meinen absoluten Lieblingskuchen.

Das Original habe ich offenbar um 1986 herum, kurz nach Erlernen der vereinfachten Ausgangsschrift zu Papier gebracht und ich kann euch sagen, bis heute ist meine Handschrift nicht wesentlich besser geworden…

Nur gut, dass es Tastaturen gibt.

Man nehme:

• 3 Tassen¹ Zucker
• 4 Tassen Mehl
• 5 Eier
• 4 Esslöffel Kakao ohne Zucker
• 500g Margarine
• 1 Tasse Milch
• 1 Packung Backpulver
• 100g gemahlene Nüsse
• 1 Tasse heisses Wasser

Alles cremig miteinander verquirlen, auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech geben und bei 165 Grad Umluft² 20-25 Minuten im vorgeheizten Ofen backen.

Anschliessend nach Gusto mit Schokoglausur verzieren.

… werde ich es einfach einem meiner liebsten Blogs nachmachen und immer den Anfang des Buches posten, das ich gerade ausgelesen habe. Ich hoffe das bringt ein wenig Abwechslung in dieses in letzter Zeit doch sehr QuickLinks lastige Blog. Wenn die Klausurphase in zwei Wochen vorbei ist werde ich bestimmt auch mal wieder ein paar der zahlreichen begonnenen Entwürfe fertigstellen, flickrn, Wordpress updaten und vieles anderes.

Ich hatte einmal einen Tai-Chi-Lehrer, der mir den Unterschied zwischen chinesischer und westlicher Medizin so erklärte: ” Die westliche Medizin basiert auf Leichen, auf Dingen, die man entdeckt, wenn man tote Körper aufschneidet und zerlegt.
