Und per Downgrade auf 1.0.2 kann man auch gebrickte 1.1.1 iPhones wieder in funktionierende Telefone verwandeln…

Jetzt hatte ich schon einige Stunden mit diesem Wunderding und ich bin mir immer noch nicht abschliessend sicher ob ich eins haben will. Also, cool ist es schon, ich habe noch nie so ein abgefahren durchgestyltes Telefon gesehen. Aber, wenn so simple Dinge wie MMS-Versand (ja doch, ich nutze den hin und wieder) nicht funktionieren und die Plattform bei jedem Firmware-Upgrade wieder mühsam zum funktionieren gehackt werden muss, dann muss ich schon schwer schlucken…

Und auf die offiziellen T-Mobile Verträge bin ich ja auch mal gespannt, 50-60 €uronen pro Monat für einen Handyvertrag sind schon recht happig, auch wenn man dafür eine EDGE-Flat bekommt…

Nenene, ich werde wohl auf die nächste Version warten, die dann als offene Plattform mit UMTS und GPS an Bord daherkommt. Natürlich subventioniert und bei freier Providerwahl, gell Apple?

P.S.: Flickr-Fotos folgen, da waren so viele am Wochenende…

Schon spannend so ein Firmware-Update…

Da wird so ein Dings runtergeladen und installiert, dann muss man das MacBook abschalten und dann wieder per “lange den Knopf drücken” anschalten und dann blinkt die Schlafleuchte ganz hektisch und es erschallen laute Geräusche die kaum was gutes ahnen lassen…

Aber dann erscheint ein normaler grauer Boot-Bildschirm mit einer Fortschrittsanzeige und dann wird alles gut. Unspektakulär.

Aber spannend ist es schon..
