Mit Panikverkäufen haben die Anleger in Deutschland auf den Tiefenrausch an Asiens Börsen reagiert. Der deutsche Leitindex Dax rutschte zeitweise um mehr als sieben Prozent ab und pendelte am Nachmittag zwischen 6800 und 6900 Zählern. Zuletzt war der Leitindex nach Ausbruch des Irak-Kriegs im März 2003 so stark abgerutscht. Seit Jahresbeginn hat der Dax inzwischen rund zehn Prozent eingebüßt. Vor gut drei Wochen noch lag der Index noch bei über 8000 Punkten.
