Ich bin eigentlich soweit einverstanden, auch wenn man über die Platzierungen vielleicht mal reden sollte. Die O2 von SGI gehört auf jeden Fall vor die Sun Ultra 20 und sogar der merkwürdige Küchen Computer ist schicker als IBMs ps/2. Standard für ein Jahrzehnt hin oder her, das Ding ist einfach plain ugly…

Ich vermisse die Sun Javastation-NC “Krups” in der Liste. Die ist auf jeden Fall einer der schönsten Computer überhaupt, auch wenn sie eigentlich nur ein Thin-Client ist… Toll finde ich, dass die Playstation 2 einen Platz erhalten hat und dass das MacBook Air das einzige Notebook auf der Liste ist überrascht auch nicht wirklich.

Ich würde mir gerne beizeiten noch selber einen Nextcube zulegen. Und die O2 ist auch sehr cool, nicht zuletzt weil Erwin aus userfriendly in einer wohnt. Eine BeBox wäre auch hübsch und ein MacBook Air würde der Freundin sicherlich sehr gut stehen…

Ein ungemein praktischer Tip für Leute die unter Mac OS X gerne in der Shell arbeiten:

TextMate öffnet dann ein neues Fenster mit dem Inhalt der Zwischenablage, genial.

Die Möglichkeiten sind hier natürlich nur durch die Phantasie des Users begrenzt. Die beiden Tools haben auch eine¹ man-Page die den interessierten Leser über verschiedene Pasteboards und RTF-Support aufklärt…
